It all started when…

Victor Deyglio is the Administrative Director of the Logistics Employment Training [LET] Trust, the President and Chief Executive Officer of ProLog Connect, Inc, the Global Division of the Logistics Institute, and the Founding President of the Canadian Professional Logistics Institute, which certifies logistics practitioners in Canada and worldwide. Mr. Deyglio has experience in designing executive and management training programs. He has professional expertise in logistics, global supply chains, change leadership, and professional ethics.

Mr. Deyglio currently teaches Values and Leadership (Ethics) [e-learning], Supply Chain Strategies [e-learning], and Team Dynamics [e-learning] to business managers and executives. He is a facilitator for the Institute's Leadership Programs. His past teaching experiences include: logistics at York University in Toronto, philosophy at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, and literature at the University of Toronto.

Working with academics, governments, companies and industry practitioners, Mr. Deyglio has designed corporate and sector workforce development strategies, national skills and curriculum standards, and competency-based human resource programs in supply chain and logistics. He has developed learning resources for web-based Internet applications, and designed web-platforms for e-Learning and e-Research capabilities.

For his work in creating a workforce development strategy in supply chain logistics for the People’s Government of Shanghai, Mr. Deyglio was appointed Senior International Advisor to the City of Shanghai in 2005. He has worked in partnership with the International Training Center of the Shanghai Foreign Service Company since 2004, and most recently worked with senior executives at the Ji-Zhong International Logistics Company in Handan, PRC, to develop professional programs in global logistics for delivery in China.

Mr. Deyglio was a director on the board of the World Confederation of Productivity Science, and was elected a Fellow of the World Academy of Productivity Science in 2006. He has also served as an advisor on a number of business boards in Canada.

Mr. Deyglio was enrolled in two doctoral degrees, one from McMaster University and one from the University of Toronto; has earned two masters degrees, both from the University of Toronto; and an undergraduate degree from Hunter College, City University of New York.

Mr. Deyglio grew up in New York City, became a Canadian in 1982, and lives in the Forest Hill section of Toronto. He travels extensively throughout Asia, Latin America, the Middle East, the United States and Canada.
